This happens because the theme you uploaded are not compatible. They do not have build in the theme.xml which is a required parameter. Contact theme developers and request them to add the build to theme.xml or put the build on your own.
Ok! should I ask them how to do it or do you can help me?...
when i try to activate darklets theme in oxwall version 1.8.1 it showing error. Refer screenshot. I tried many oxwall themes but got same error. License key error
Please help
What I notest and what I understand its that most part of the themes are not compatible or there is some bugs with 1.8.1.
What you can do is install a test site 1.8.1 and keep the live one 1.8.0 until all/or some bugs/issues been solved.
Because there is lot of themes, and the developers of those themes need to make some fixes/make them compatible, or we need to do it by ourselfs...
One more thing to learn! We just need to be patient!
Also, always make a backup of your web site! My luck is having the backups, I think I restored to 1.8.0 about 10 times becase of the new update, if not, I had to make it all from zero. lol
If so, PM me your FTP access details, phpmyadmin access details or just Cpanel access details, as well as admin website access details, I'll take a look at the issue, as we cannot reproduce the issue on our side.
Tiwakar, do you still experience the issue with the theme activation?WaitingIf so, PM me your FTP access details, phpmyadmin access details or just Cpanel access details, as well as admin website access details, I'll take a look at the issue, as we cannot reproduce the issue on our side.
Tiwakar, you're not eligible to remove Oxwall attribution link from your website, unfortunately we do not provide assistance to those who do that. Restore the attribution, then we'll proceed with your issue.@rosss appologies for that. Please check now
If update then these instructions: http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/24134
If the problem you have with the theme upload you need to add <build> in the theme.xml file. You can open some default Oxwall theme and the theme you're having the problem with and compare it's theme.xml file you'll see what the build is.
