If I comment on someone's status and don't want to get notified of other comments, is there a tick box or something that I can disable the notifications for that particular post?

Will the user gets the notification in email also or just online?

Thanks for answering my previous question... one more. Does this work in the newsfeed, i.e. if someone comments on a photo (as described)?
