On our site, whenever someone likes or comments on a post, that brings the post back up to the top of the newsfeed (as the most recent activity on site).

This is different to most other social networking sites, i.e. on most other sites, when you like or comment on a post, it doesn't change the order in which the posts are displayed on the newsfeed.

Is there a setting that can be changed to make Oxwall not change the display orders of posts just because they're liked or commented on?

Hi Ross,
I was aware of the link you posted, and made that change to the code a while ago.

However, applying that fix that doesn't resolve the issue that I'm raising, namely that everytime someone likes or comments on a post, it brings that post back to the top of newsfeed.

I was wondering if there was a bit of code, or a setting, that could sort this issue, also.

Thanks

I'm sorry I can't provide you the code, as it is kind of complicated, please make a suggestion uservoice, see my reply above
