2 and 4 items Unfortunately default software does not have such functionality. In the meantime this is considered as a custom code modification (или custom paid plugin development). 1 issue - what do you mean you want to remove users from chat list? if the user is a friend with this user or had a conversation with that user, the user will stay in his chat, please elaborate what the issue is? why do you want to remove users from chat.

I know it is third party plugin, but I was wondering if any of you had same issue or something wrong at my end!

I meant user had a conversation with other user. NOT a friend. 

e.g.

one user contacted other user and had a conversation, but they decided not talk again!

That user stays on the chat list forever and there's no option to remove that user from the chat list even though they are not friends.

So, how to remove those users from chat list?

this is the default behaviour of the messages plugin - to change that is considered as a custom code modification of the plugin. 

Me personally having issue with that , I have on my chat list over 100 people and it is pretty annoying as the chat loads forever 

if you are PMing to the user, he/she will eventually appear in the chat list. 

I'm aware it is custom code modification, but does anyone know how to do it! OR anyone has done it and would like to share it with us here

The purpose of this forum is help each other with such issues by modifying the original codes of the oxwall scripts or its plugins. I honestly don't like the negative attitude that we get here by sending off every issue to a paid developers to get simple things done. 

I don't understand the purpose of this forum, it has so many posts but 98% of the replies are referred to paid plugins or paid service.....

And tbat is to side track you into thinking huge problems with the script will be fixed or sidetrack you into thinking something will be done be posting in uservoice

Do you have in one location more than 21 people? If yes, would you please double check if the showing user numbers on the map is accurate at different locations?
