Is there a way to go back to oxwall version 1.8.0 from version 1.8.1 without loosing anything and having to start all over? From what I can see oxwall 1.8.0 is a much more stable version than 1.8.1.

If you kept a backup of your database, you can (which we should always do before upgrading). Otherwise, there's no way to reverse an upgrade without a lot of hassle.
