I'm sorry but we cannot reproduce this issue. When we uncheck this option and click save, there's no "download" option in the drop down menu anymore.

Please make sure you hit save after unchecking. If the issue persists, send me your FTP access details and admin website access details, I'll take a look at the issue.

Yes, there is no  "download" option in the drop down menu. But one can download by right click mouse.....

People need to accept the fact, that the Internet is a public place. If you upload a picture (or other types of content) on a website which is publicly available, everyone can save it, with a variety of methods. (easier or more difficult)

WOO, you were referring to the setting in the photo plugin "Allow users to download photos" which displays or hide this option in the drop down menu

as to the right-click you can use javascript to disable it, but as Peter said if a person wanted to get the photo from any site, he would do that, there are a lot of other ways to do that.

I know there is a way to hide real path of photo.

Of cause, it can only prevent most people, not all people, but it is enough.

Or, this option "Allow users to download photos" has no much meaning.

This setting removes the option to "download" from the drop down menu only

If you want other behaviour of this setting, you're free to change it as you have access to the code.
