Rebecca, the issue was due to the google map location plugin. For some reason when onur disabled it, the problem was gone.
Do you have such plugin on your website?

In this case, try to disable all 3rd party plugins one by one and see if the issue persists. If it does, let me know.

It's not, please disable all 3rd party plugins, switch to the default theme, purge cloudflare cache(if you have such plugin), clear browser cache and test again.

Patricia, disable all 3rd party plugins on your website, remove all 3rd party javascript code you have on your website and pm me your admin access details, I'll take a look at the issue.

Scenario A:
User1 adds User2
User2 accepts friendship
User1 cancels friendship
friendship IS CANCELED.
Scenario B:
User1 adds User2
User2 accepts friendship
User2 cancels friendship
friendship IS NOT CANCELED.
This also happens in a new installation of Oxwall without any plugin, without more members, without activity, without setting anything.
In my network, with 6,000 members, a lot of plugins and many custom things happen exactly the same.
I created a testsite only for this, entering with Chrome with a user and in another window with Firefox with another is quickly checked.

I can also confirm the problem is gone with oxwall 1.8.3. I think Patricia had the right idea. Maybe it was not a 3rd party problem ;)
