I have problem with avatar upload (by registration or profile edit) after update to 1.8.2 and change "Options All -Indexes" to #ptions All -Indexes in the ow_static/.htaccess This change was made because of shared hosting.
It shows following errorPHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_USE, expecting T_FUNCTION in /var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/ow_system_plugins/base/controllers/avatar.php on line 34, referer: http://www.mysite.com/profile/edit
I suspect it is provider's PHP version. Am i right or is something elese?

I am on php.5.6 and I have the same issue. I am also seeing that uploaded photos are not going into the pictures section. I assume its a bug with 1.8.2

Jozko, what is your php version? It should be 5.5+ now
OA, we cannot reproduce the issue with the photo you have. Seems like it is only on your side. Do you get any kind of error or message on site or in the console?
