The update has not been successfully completed.

Read Aliays' instructions and run the update again: http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/16049

Yeah, I got this same error, after updating (manually to 1.82 from 1.74)

I had, of course, disabled all plugins, first.

Working on a fix...

Well Marcus update from 1.7.2 to 1.8.2 is not easy, you missed a lot of intermediate releases, besides it is on the local server.

Can you show us screenshot of browser console on the page with that missing keys and pictures?
When you enable debug mode do you get any errors? If so provide them here too.

Ross baby I mean some third party plugins had lost their Spanish translation.

I have one question. If I enable dev mode during the update won't that make the site load super slow and could brake some code?

Is if recommended to enable dev mode and debug mode during the update?

Everything seems to work OK except that some pictures on news feed not showing on the wall but the URL is correct. I mean the image shows as broken but when you click on the link it shows the image????

I mean the images before the update not the once after!

It seems to be fixed right now not sure what it was browser cache on that I enabled dev mode!

If I enable debug mode what should I see or do???

Ok, check your folders permissions:

ow_pluginfiles

ow_userfiles

ow_smarty/template_c

ow_static

make sure they are 777 permissions and they should be set recursively.

as to the dev mode, you need to enable dev mode after update and yes, your site becomes slow when it is on.

Ross baby on local host I can't play with the folder permission will do it on life server.

PLEASE Ross advice me how do I update from 1.7.2 to 1.8.0 correctly and not miss or screw anything in the process?

I am afraid the update package for 1.8 doesn't contain all the files that were modified before like for previous versions.

I have:

ow_core_update_pack_1.7.3.zip
ow_core_update_pack_1.7.4.zip
ow_core_update_pack_1.7.5.zip
ow_core_update_pack_1.8.0.zip

AND

oxwall-1.7.3.zip
oxwall-1.7.4.zip
oxwall-1.7.5.zip
oxwall-1.8.0.zip

Do I have to upload each code update then on the last update the plugins?
