By default no, however there's a plugin in the store: http://www.oxwall.org/store/item/666 but it is compatible with up to 1.7.2 version only

The dev currently does not support all his plugins, but this particular plugin we'll be taken over by one of our team members soon.
As to the feature must-be a core feature, you can make a suggestion on uservoice: https://oxwall.uservoice.com/forums/13756-ideas-for-oxwall
