However, I don't think they are a great host for Oxwall. Their default PHP version is now different than what Oxwall requires (unlike when I first signed up...). You'll have to change that yourself, hope Bluehost doesn't switch it back, and your ability to use any subdomains or anything will be crippled, and once you make the change, Bluehost's support will just tell you to change it back.I haven't had any of these issues with bluehost. Support is top notch providing you use live chat. Haven't had any requests to change my php back. No issues at all. Just upgraded from shared to vps and they helped me through everything.
Back on topic here .....
But enough about that, its history.. They asked me to please update this post and explain that BLuehost DOES NOT accept adult hosting. They are a professional hosting organization and such sites are a violation of their terms.
I will share excerpts of the email they sent me in order to reflect their position on this subject. And without exposing any personal information that would be considered private.
Hi, Dave,
I apologize for my late response. The tattooboy affiliate has been deactivated, please contact us again about any repeat violations that you
find.
Also, his advertisement of Bluehost allowing adult content sites is
false. If you don't mind posting on that thread that Bluehost does NOT allow
adult content, we would appreciate that clarification. Feel free to reference
our customer Terms https://www.bluehost.com/acceptable-use-policy
to support your statement.
