How do you install and initialise the OneSignal SDK for HTTP?

I'm finding the OneSignal instructions here confusing:
https://documentation.onesignal.com/docs/website-sdk-http-installation
especially item 2

I can't get past this stage so I can then subscribe for push notifications. I'm not getting any bell or blue button - there's obviously something I'm missing.

Just follow the step by step guide from the admin area of the plugin. The plugin installs the SDK you do not need to follow the one signal instructions.
