On Hosting page you can find a list of hosting on which oxwall was tested and which meet our requirements.
I can't recommend you others, cos we didn't install it on there. May be somebody else from our community may advise?

I will tel you something about your recomended hosting.
First one great suport and great hosting but oxwall script wont work well on their servere.
there is some problems with script and there servers.
Screapt i so slow on hostgator.it stuck in loading stuck on posting stop on sing in.
it is SLOWWWWWW
Anather hosting that you recomend arixve.
when hostgator become so slow that i need 10 minutes to sing in and my users too.
I make a new instalation on arixve.
I have my script there for one mounth and yesterday my acount is suspended.

so why are you recomend that hosting when is not good
it just can hold that script in shared hosting plan.
No i need to find something else again for my social network.

the best thing will be a delicated server or something like that.
but this 2 for this script in that 7 8 dolars plans are not good

Can you tell us the number of registered and guest users on your site
and number of visitors per day giving that amount of network traffic 9 GBytes
and number of concurrent users surfing on your site

These figures will give us a hint where the real limitations of Oxwall will be found

Well this very interesting discussion i personally use a vps as i also have a flashchat that i use on my site my members are 600 odd and my host is superb it cost a lot more money but i figured it is not worth the worry about bandwidth etc and i usually 10 gig a month that includes all my people online useing cams etc and also listening to music

I am afraid that this is something impossible to do. Cos such limitation is very different and depends from things like:

- type of user activity (blogging, photo sharing, video sharing, surfing)

- custom modifications, which plugins installed

- hosting parameters. Shared plans are very different from different hosting companies.



That's why it seems impossible to get REAL limitations :)

Oxwall should publish number of users at the most we can expect by using shared hostings in different scenarios
what shared hosting limitations we should avoid in selecting hostings etc
and don't hide behind the impossible subject

figures like unlimited bandwidth and lots of GByte are their main selling points
which in most cases are no issues at all

I have about 1000 users in day.
Now i have about 400 users registred because i install script for 5 times it was about 2000
I am adicted to oxwall that script have great potential.
But dont belive in everething they say.
I giving one more chance to hostgator because their suport is something that no other hosting have.
My web is online tv and movies .
It is embleding
so there is no hi resurces for my server it is iframing and embled codes.
But arvixe definitli is not for social network if you want to have much of users.

how many users are accessing your site during peak hour
ie how many users during the hour most users visit your site?

Usually most users visit during evening hours
we have about 80% of the visits during 4 hours

Hi Guys! I am with Arvixe, for quite some time. Installation was smooth and website been running well without any problem, so far.

Veronica is dosent even mather.
If you want to have a big social network.You need a vps or dedicatsed server.
I thing realy big social network
This new core 1.1.1 works well on hostgator.For now.
I will tell you if everething goes wrong.
Much better hosting then arvixe.
Rajoo if you have shared hosting in arvixe forget about that if you plan to have much of users.
And their chat suport go aleap in midle of conversation.
Hostgator suport rocks.

If enyone want to share with us about thet 3 one "HostforWeb" hosting.?
Arvixe will turn of you site because http or cpu usage and says that is unlimited bandwith.
Now i recomend hostgator so far so good.With new core.
