Not that i know of, maybe ross might be able to show you a link somewhere as he does themes himself. 

I think you can just copy one of the base themes to a different folder name and then edit that for your own theme. I think how it works is that the css that you don't use is drawn from the default theme. So you don't have to have everything in your theme css file, just the things you want to change. 

Ross needs to confirm this though because i'm not really 100% on this.
