Hi,


I use two language for my site (EN and VN). When i edit translation for a Profile question description (Pic 1) and save, the value of profile question description for both language (EN and VN) disapear and show No value (Pic 2). 


Please Help!

I'm sorry but we cannot reproduce the issue. 

Please do the testing again on the default software with the default plugin enabled only and see if the issue persists. 

What is your software version, by the way?

I'm using Platform version 1.8.3 (build 10600). 


Checking in the XML language file, I found that there're no <value> tag for this language <key>. I manually add <value> tag for this <key> and it works. is it  risky if i do that?

Where did you get that lang file?  Did you make it yourself or get it from someone else?

i just export the language pack and unzip the file.

No it's not risky at all. 

Can you please check whether the issue persists, by repeating your steps which led to the issue?

Hi,


I've repeated the steps and still get the isssue.


- Step 1: Add new profile question 

- Step 2: Enter question name, desscription, all other fields and save

- Step 3: Edit the question

- Step 4: Click question descirption value link to translate language (step4.png)

- Step 5: Enter VN translation and save

- Step 6: Edit the question again and get the isssue (the question description become "No value")

I'm sorry, but we can't reproduce the issue. 

Can you please pm me your cpanel access details and admin website access details? We'll take a look at the issue

You have suhosin module enabled on your server, please disable it and see if the issue persists. Contact your hosting provider to assist you with that.
