you either have to add the page in admin - pages section so that it is a oxwall page

or if it is a custom page or other functionality page like a custom error page or something then you have to add it to the htaccess to let oxwall know its ok to use it see here..

ok i got it working.. now how i setup ssl on the site

i have no clue, i have never done so with oxwall but there are plenty of forum posts on the matter im sure, i will help you search.  

also please advise how you got it working so it can help others.

Yes, to set up ssl - you need ssl certificate installed on your website then go to ow_includes/config.php file and change home uri from http to https
