Curious on how you would increase the video size limit the max size is 16M I wondering if this can be raised.

I believe it can be raised in admin but you have to increase your max post size and max upload size in htaccess first. Then that increase will show in the admin and you can raise the amount.

There's no upload size setting for video in the admin panel, as default software does not have video upload option.
Are you using some third party plugin Steve?

No...I am trying to up load a video like you can in facebook but apparently you can't.
and ross there an upload size in for videos it is labeled file attachments in the content settings of control panel it has text, sql, pic and video ext. listed.

No steve that is not part of the core you will need a plugin for that sir. Now you can embed a video with the core with youtube embed code but you cant upload a video without a plugin.
