It isn't a fatal error but here is the report from php5.5:

[07-Aug-2016 02:02:13 US/Pacific] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'class' (T_CLASS), expecting identifier (T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or '{' or '$' in /home/hannah70/public_html/social/ow_core/developer_tools.php on line 376

This is the only error reported in this situation since the 2nd of August 2016, last error date was the 7th of August, 2016, so I am just curious what it is that is causing this error.

Each time I have seen this error posted it has been related to the php version being incorrect. I see that you are listing that you have php 5.5. Have you checked to verify it using phpinfo() ? Some have found that it may say php 5.5 in the php selector in cpanel, but it was actually running a different version. Here is a link that shows how to do it.
