No newsfeed update on likes and comments | Forum

I don't want to get a newsfeed update when someone likes or comments on someone's newsfeed status. Let me explain: When userx likes usery's status right underneath this, there comes userx likes this. This is ok. But when I do a pagerefresh, there is a new newsfeed status that's says: Usersy likes Userx's status. This is what I don't want. Is there a way to disable this ?

That is the way Newsfeed works. What in its behavior confuses you?

It doesn't confuse me. It's just that I don't want a status update on likes and comments in the newsfeed. Is there a way to turn it off ?

No, there is no way to turn it off. Though, it can be done as a code modification.
