if new content is uploaded to private group's newsfeed, will it (for example photos and videos) be available/showable everywhere (under public photos, videos)?

If "yes", would it be ok to add a checkbox to the user's upload/insert-form where he/she can choose weather to show them or not (maybe also for user-profile's newsfeed, if the profile is private (Privacy Plugin)). Of course there will be issues if the group or the profile will be edited as public afterwards...
