and this will work for some plugins there are always options when I had to manually uninstall my groups plugin it took a little more

step 8 in detail
1.go to phpmyadmin and select ow_video_clip and ow_video_clip_featured then export them
2.go to your admin area in your site and uninstall the video plugin
3.reinstall plugin
4.go to phpmyadmin select the ow_video_clip and ow_video_clip_featured and drop them
5.import the export file from step 1 everything should now work and all videos should be back as they were
