Can you please add an option to embed Videos just by using the video link instead of the embed code?
I have a lot of old folks on my website who want to embed their videos but its hard for them to use the embed code.

There's a paid plugin with such functionality in the store.
If you want to add such a behavior to the default video plugin, this is considered as a modification of the code. you will need to do that on your own or hire a programmer to do that for you.
Also you can make a suggestion on uservoice, we'll consider implementing it.
