The link "mobile version" shows the same as desktop version. When I try on my phone I expected a different layout. Is that so?

This what responsive theme is about. All features from desktop can be accessed from your mobile device. Default mobile version is disabled.

There will be no problem at all, just drag and drop " mobile version page to hidden pages section in the admin panel
