However I decided to use it for some very basic banners for my site launch. Now I do not see any option to actually select the image to be used for the banner! Section, Placement, and url work - but how to select banner image??

I had tried the Advertisement plugin before with some several test banners and held off because of some bugs with page placement defaullting to Global, and no way to deactivate other than delete.

When you click on the section link a pop up should display a list of the banners with check boxes next to them. Checking the box assigns the banner to that section. You can display the same banner in other sections as well.
