If you have a international website there will bee many different times and countrys.
it would look funny if there is night shows in the country you stay but there is acctually daytime in that country

What time do this plugin pick? the server time? the website time? or the time where the member lives?

so this plugin is solve something that oxwall not solved . correct time in chat and message windows.
if thst is true you could solve the time issue in chat and messages that you send to other users. this time is not care what country you stay in when you chat.
i do not know if you notice there is a time issue in chat and message windows for international websites
