I'm having a problem with images using the SimplyResponsive SB theme, whenever I try and upload any sort of image it appears to just be blank. If the developer of this theme could help I will be grateful.

I just double checked this on my installation with both jpg, and png images. Both gave no issues. Do you notice the same thing on the Simplicity theme?

This is probably caused by incorrect file / folder permissions on your server. There are a few posts that list the correct settings.
Just a note. Themes don't provide any core, or plugin functionality. They just provide a visual. Usually, if something isn't working, it will be something related to the core, a plugin, or server settings.
