I tried re-uploading the image ..come to find out, it's the link url to my header image. I found the unsecure url's in the css files located in /ow_userfiles/themes directory and I changed them but it's still coming up as insecure ..I enclosed where I think the link is coming from but I don't know how to change it.

Any help?

The problem is that the site that your site is accessing to get the image is a standard http site in order for it to show a secure connection the site with the image has to be https also.

When my site had a ssl cert. the way I got around it was to make a folder within my site folder for the images and then when it came to load them on my site I would just redirect it to the folder I had made...Example:   https://www.yoursite.com/madefolder/imagefile ;

I hope that helps a little.

it does and thank you for the help ...but this image isn't an outside link ..it's internal. It's an image file for a header image that can be changed within OW and it's kept in a folder with the OW directory. It's only a problem if I use the ShowCase theme. So something within the theme is creating the insecure link or url every time that theme is used.

Norias was right, it didn't dawn on me to upload through the admin dashboard. I was uploading via FTP. So once I re-uploaded via the admin backend, it worked.

thanks again for the help
