I tried to use this plugin and it was /signin page and not www.mysite.com/ in canonical url... How do I fix that?

if the new index page still has /sign in Canonical Url, than it would be useless because it will not rank.

Even if the actual uri is http://www.mysite.com/sign-in when you visit http://www.mysite.com/ it should still load the page.

it does, but the canonical in the source code still shows /sign-in this is really bad for seo... I am using the 0xSeo plugin for Canonical and friendly urls.

Unless this plugin can replace the Main/index completely, then this plugin is pretty useless because google will see the Main Index as the sign-in page. The correct way would be to make the sign-in the main index and redirect sign-in to index.
