Plugin Price Increase | Forum

Hi everyone i wanted to take a moment and explain to everyone why the prices for my plugins are or have increased. 


For many years now i haved strived to keep my plugins at or under $30 in order to assist with new site owners and their tight budgets.  That support i have for them has not changed but sadly things are getting more and more expensive in this world and so i must adjust my prices also.  My new target is at or under $50 for any of my plugins.  


Not all of them will increase but some of them will.  I have already increased the SimpleChat as well as the UltimateVideo plugins because they are more technical in nature and require much more support than some of the others just because every server is different. 


It is certainly not all about money to me, its about helping people.  However please remember that there are times with certain isolated server setups that i have spent hours and hours of my own time trying to help people get Oxwall to work as well as plugins and not just my own plugins.   This does not mean that i should be consulted on other peoples plugins, you need to contact the developer of that plugin for support.


Plus the fact that i am a talented and excellent programmer who is professional and give great service beyond the sale. In the end all of that time costs money and so this is the reason for the increase. 


I will be updating an increasing some fo the other plugins as well in good time.  I do want to promise everyone that although i may be somewhat limited at times with my medical challenges i will continue to fight and be here for you as much as i can. 


For those people who have been waiting for updates to certain plugins, here is the current schedule.  I have pretty much wrapped up the Video plugin update process.  So the next big challenge will be the Ostore plugin.  But i will need to take a bit to regroup here, and by that i mean a week or so is all.  In the mean time i may update a few smaller plugins because they wont take long and wont take too much brain power.  The Ostore is going to be a huge challenge because there are so many moving parts to it but i will get it done and i will keep my promise.
