restricting users(members) page | Forum

I don't want the guest users to be able to see the users (members) page. 

-In Admin>pages & menus I have only allowed registered users to Members page.

-In role management page have unchecked 'search users' and 'view profile' for guest.


Still if a guest types the users URL can Browse 'online users' and 'latest users'. How can I stop this?

do you want guests to view anything before signing up?

Maryam,  guest users can see the list of online and latest users if they type the URL ( for example http://yoursitename.com/users/latest ) - that is the way Oxwall works. You will need to modify the code if you would  like to block URL of the page,  if the page is restricted in admin panel.

@Joseph -before signing I don't want them to see the list of users, but can see some of the other pages/info.

thanks, Can you tell me which pages have to be modified? any documentation exist about restricting urls?

just untick the guest box in admin>pages n menus

Maryam, documentation is under development right now. As a support manager I can not tell where and how you can modify the code, since it will take as much time as actually doing this custom work.
