i just got my host to fix it for me, i will ask them later how to i do it myself and i share it on the forums.

some similar problem with me.
I've changed avatar size in user panel, then edited css in theme editor in admin, after that my site front was broken, I tried to restore css, tried to manually change theme folder but No use,
Temporarily I've changed theme, BUT now I'm unable to open change theme section in Admin-> choose theme. Kindly help.

I've some plugins installed, modified theme working perfect before editing css.

I've enabled debug mode getting this error

Vinod, if you  PM me access details to your server ( FTP, control panel) and admin panel, our developers will check what have caused this issue.

Actually It was new install, and don't have much data there, just setted it up 3-4 days. So on Sunday I've uninstalled and Re-Installed everything.

Same issue... and yeah... I cannot ever seem to find a solution when something goes wrong.

Tim, this issue has been reported several times, however people either reinstalled the software and everything went well or they did not provide access details and we were not able to find what have caused the issue.

We will be able to help you with this issue if you PM me  access details to :
1. admin panel
2. FTP
3. phpMyAdmin

generally speaking, do you think its a good idea to have the admin backend panel
in the themes folder ? i wasnt used to see "simplicity" theme in my theme folder
and after accidentally deleting it and re-uploading from my other oxwall website
it should be just working, shouldnt it ?

if something can screw up so much it shouldnt be located in a folder where alot
of changes are being made manually (graphics, css etc.).

i think this is kind of a flaw in design. /personal opinion - no rant.

could solve the problem for the main page but yet not for the admin panel.
i had to create the simplicity theme entry into the database folder (adding the sql import file for others).

now i get this error on the the admin backend:

so i looked into the file and the line 240 states:
throw new InvalidArgumentException("Can't find master page `'.$masterPage.'` !");

$masterpage in the database is set on the origin theme which should be right, actually.

ok, found the issue:
by accidentally deleting simplicity via FTP the origin theme was still on and active.
deleted it in the database and set simplicity up for the origin ID.
