Is there a reason why the Groups are missing from the phone version?

Under admin -> mobile do you have the mobile version enabled or disabled?

The standard Oxwall mobile version doesn't support Groups. You have two options.

1. Use a responsive theme, and disable the default Oxwall mobile in the admin panel.

2. If you want to use the Oxwall default mobile version, you would need to purchase this plugin. I can't speak for it since I don't use it.
