I was wondering the best way to do site backups.
What I have initially done is just goto my host and initiate a site backup every night (home folder and databases)
Where the databases are tiny in size, as my site grows, the download grows.
I was thinking of changing this method.
So This was my thinking.

Night 1:
Backup DB
Download the entire home folder
Place contents in folder on PC
ZIP the contents up.

Night 2:
Backup DB
Create new folder on PC
Extract the previous night ZIP to that folder
Ftp the site Set the overwrite to only do new/modified files.
ZIP THAT folder contents, it should be an incrememted new archive.

Night 3, 4, 5...etc:
Copy the steps for Night 2

Any comments?
