Why is it that a guestbook plugin is missing here at Oxwall.?

The opinion of visitors is so important, because visitors who do not want to become members have found something on the website that they do not like.!

Than they must also be able to make that knowable through a guest book for example, instead of directly having to fill in a contact form.!

Unfortunately, both plugins are for members.

The intention is that one does not have to be logged in for it.

But thank you for thinking along.

We already have a guestbook script but in one way or another we do not get it working on the website.

With regards,

No, you're wrong, the one I've recommended can be used by people without registering

There are countless scripts, widgets and online guestbook services. Some free, or almost free, and of course some are paid. If you installed a guestbook script, you should be able to call it in a custom page by it's external url.

Actually integrating one into the site would require hiring a developer.

I would think about considering a standalone type guest book that you can install on your hosting that can be accessed via a url, and then create a custom page linking to that url. When people click on the menu link it should bring up the guestbook.

Here is a nice looking one that is responsive to ponder.
