If someone wants to joins my website the profile won't let them with out a photo just goes back to profile page and says this"The image in not valid"
how can i fix this the settings are

Avatar upload is set to "display" you can upload a photo but if you don't it will give you this error "The image in not valid" it won't give them the defaultavatar image

Tom, thanks for pointing out. Bob check the link given by Tom.
I misunderstood the first post, thought that Bob meant that users are uploading photo but system doesn't accept uploaded image.
