On Sept 1, 2019  A new Texas law goes into effect that if you share adult photos with someone and that person has not opted-in to see those photos then it is a crime. 

Now for right now the crime is about the level of a traffic ticket. However, im sure that this is just the tip of the iceberg. More states will pass more similar laws and crimes will be more severe.  

Adult photos is trending toward opt-in or opt-out and as a site owner you better have a data trail that shows that a person opted-in to receive adult photos to cover yourself. 

It may not be a big deal now but the day is coming where it will be.

Something to think about folks because this is going to be a real issue one day.  This is another reason that it is a good idea not to have adult images on the front page of your site and only accessable for logged in users.
