Hi guys,

I'm a newbie and I posted this in the wrong place last night, just moved it.

I have a new site from bluehost via their simplescript auto-install.

I need help to do anything further with it, as I can't get it to install any new themes or plugins.  I have no idea what to do and I don't have the type of brain to learn it; I've tried before with other sites/systems, and recognise my own inabilities :)

I need a grunge theme applied and a list of plugins installed.

I also need some coding done, change the name of 'groups' to 'labs', a small thing, but also to rework the onsite credit plugin to offer two different types of credits.  One type to be purely for free, onsite use, the other type of credits being only for real money use, for members to transfer 'real' money credits that can be bought/sold through paypal.  I need to have the two types quite separate to avoid member confusion and to make my site work as it needs to.

Can anyone direct me to where I should repost this to be seen be developers, or how it works to hire someone?

All advice/tips are welcome.  I'm feeling my way here and a little lost with the new oxwall system.

Thanks,
Mark.

You could post in the oDesk to have developers see your requirement. But it costs for you to post.

Else you can PM the developers here.

I will be on Diwali vacation from Nov 10th and will be back to work only on Nov 15th next week.

Thanks Purusothaman :)

I've put it on guru.com but it hasn't got past the 'pending approval' stage yet.  I'll hopefully get a few bits there and can get things moving.  If not, I'll drop you line on the 16th when you're back at work.  I appreciate that :)

I'm afraid that without some help I just won't be able to use oxwall.  Not everyone can code, in fact most people can't, and are locked out of using such systems because of that, if we're unable to get some outside help.  That was one reason I got the wall.fm site first, but I do need to have my own hosted site to make the modifications.  Sigh.

Otherwise, I'll have to look at wordpress again.  At least there are quite a few good support services about for that.  I like oxwall though, as it's simpler and has everything I need, if it can just be set up for me.

Thanks again, and have a good break :)
