Also if you want a better DB engine change your oxwall DB to use InnoDB rather than MyISAM
I changed my oxwall install and have not yet noticed any issues. But please do a full backup first just in case you do have an issue.

For those of you that need to support special characters you really need to change your Oxwall Database collation to utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci
