I only recommend it if you know what you are doing.
You have to change the database field type from utf8 to utf8mb4

You do that in phpMyAdmin... however before you go messing with that, send a message to the developer and let him know what is happening, he should be able to assist you.. If you make changes and you dont know what you are doing, you could create new issues or make the issue worse.

PhpMyAdmin is not a plugin or a function from OxWall it is a software to manage databases.

Maybe this is a restriction on the receivers end. Could the receiver have some kind of text block enabled on their phone or not have something enabled on their phone. Maybe their phone does not support such characters.

you confuse me a bit.... is this issue with the oxwall chat at the bottom of the page, are you saying you send a emoji in that chat and the other person gets ????
how are you sending the emoji, by text code or by plugin?
remember that oxwall does not support mobile. They have a mobile version but it is horrible and incomplete, so if you are trying to use the oxwall mobile version there is no support for that yet.
it might help if you take a snapshot or picture of what you are trying to do.
