Differences between Mail Clean Cron and MailBox CleanUp

The goal is the same: Delete conversations and their attachments, either because they are old or because one of the two members has been terminated or suspended.

you can, without deleting anything, make studies to see how many conversations, messages and attachments there are, and know how many will be deleted with the different possibilities. If you want to delete them, activate the corresponding functions, execute and the results will be shown. The process is completely manual.

With Mail Clean Cron https://developers.oxwall.com/store/item/1702

you can see how many conversations, messages and attachments there are and how many have been deleted by the plugin since you installed it, and you can define which messages you want to delete, but you can NOT delete them manually, the process is automatic and is executed by CRON. You can define how many conversations will be analyzed at each execution. You can also set a maximum time not to overload cron in webs with many members and many plugins, if this time is reached the operation is interrupted and will continue in the next cron at the point where it was interrupted. I don't recommend changing the default values, but you can do it if you need to.

Neither of the two plugins do anything or give errors if the MailBox plugin is deactivated, not installed or there is no conversation. They also don't show anything to users.

They are ideal for deleting private messages from users that you expel for spamming, offering illegal things, annoying girls on dating sites or things like that.
