I would like mly users to disable if they want the sound when you send or receive a message. Everything seems in the code, but I don't see chere the users can enter his settings, and how these settings interact because with any parameters in the data base table preference the sound is fired

Interesting question, i have never looked at this part of the script before. I just assumed all sounds were userside and handled by their OS.
