I believe that is what the dashboard is for. Its called a friends dashboard so all your friends content is there and its controlled by the privacy plugin.  That is the difference between dashboard and main pages.

as already stated above by Dave newsfeed lets you do just that. in privacy select friends only.

You mean you wanna show like facebook privacy options on each post? If that's the case then its relatively easy since plugin already comes prepared for that all you gotta do is insert right value into the table
