We The People United We Stand

Hello all,

When you create a page on oxwall;

How many video links can you place?

     Where are the files located?

i.e. www.oxwall.com/test, where are the files for test?

Thanks

when you create a page, the content for that page is in the page content field, there is no local data unless you call that data from the page content field such as a video embed.  The html for that video is in the page content field, and the video itself is on youtube or whereever you store it.

I dont know that there is any page length or page size restriction, the page will just get longer as you add embed codes.

As far as the test page content, i believe the language keys are used to store that data, but not 100%

When I embed videos it only allows me to embed two.  After that its like it has a character limit.

Here is an example https://wethepeopleunitedwestand.com/TikTok

Open "chrome browser" and open "more tools" ---> "developer tools".

load the page and you will see many red errors when load your new page.

google the errors you get if you not sure what they tell you and maybe get answers why page issues.

contact host company about your server errors and they could help you for free usely

Hey OW,

I am not sure what you are referring to.

I am talking about creating a new page on Oxwall.  When I enter the embed codes in oxwall, Oxwall is limiting the number of embeds on a page.

Under the Page content box.

Yes disregard what Ghost said, i think he must be confused and not understand that question.

Its because your not using the right code for all videos, you only have two embed codes and thats why only two videos show up.

Look at the source page, you need to use the embed code for each video.   But sure that each video link in your page contant has a embed code.

you also have a closed div but no matching open div

Dave,

Tic tok embed codes look like this, however in the content box it will only allow me to enter two of them. On the third embed it is cut off as if I reached a character limit.

<blockquote class="tiktok-embed" cite="https://www.tiktok.com/@covernationofficial/video/6828706111097556230" data-video-id="6828706111097556230" style="max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px;" > <section> <a target="_blank" title="@covernationofficial" href="https://www.tiktok.com/@covernationofficial">@covernationofficial</a> <p>wait til his mom starts singing..

Hey Ghost,

I dont understand the Red part.  They are visible on the internet.  It is working fine. I just cant get more than two to show when creating an oxwall page.

The red errors is errors that you browser made by google if you use chrome telling you to fix. If not fix red errors google may punish you to bee visible in googles search engine.

You can see that in you "search console" if analyze you page deeper with googles own tools you will see they telling you to fix this errors. You can ignore the errors but i have done that and it is very bad way SEO a landing page. You need lick the feets on googles team if want visible this days. I bored about google but still i need just do same they want or stay in the dark.

I think dave have created a guide how to use developer tools in your browser. Maybe he can find the link for you read more how to use this very useful tool

Hey Dave,

I figured out the problem. Oxwall doesn't know how to interpret the emojis that are incorporated in the embed code.

Any ideas?

We The People United We Stand

Ok I figured out the issue.  Oxwall stops reading the code at the title <p> because of the emojis.

So to add another video you need to close out the previous video by adding </blockquote> <script async src="https://www.tiktok.com/embed.js"></script>.

Now oxwall will show the next video. Basically you have to make sure that each embed has the closing command, since oxwall stops at the emoji and does not add the closing command.

Hope that helps anyone that wants to embed TikTok Videos.

Is it possible to shrink the size of this embed, so i can have them side by side? or is it control on their server side?

<blockquote class="tiktok-embed" cite="https://www.tiktok.com/@winterbabick/video/6860294199548431621" data-video-id="6860294199548431621" style="max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px;" > <section> <a target="_blank" title="@winterbabick" href="https://wethepeopleunitedwestand.com/...HR0cHM6Ly93d3cudGlrd******">@winterbabick</a> <p><a title="duet"</blockquote> <script async src="https://www.tiktok.com/embed.js"></script>

Hey Dave,

Why cant you use an HTML Web Editor with oxwall.

I use xara and i am able to arrange the videos as I wish.
