Signup email confirm not working | Forum

Situation: New user sign up, all good, gets to the final step of confirming own email. The system states the email has been sent out but it just simply doesn't arrive in the email inbox ever.

Here are some info about my settings:

* All notifications are working fine for all activities I've set it to.
* My SMTP is disabled.
* I had Anti Spammer on and I thought that was the problem but now I turned it off and still doesn't work.
* I have the notifications to "Immediately"
* It worked fine before (cron has been set up and all), not sure when it stopped working, max 2 weeks ago.

Just strange... any ideas?

Now I disabled the email confirm requirement, and all of a sudden I received the "welcome" email to that same new user!

So the email function is working, and it sends immediately, but just didn't work when I had the requirement to confirm email on signup on.

That's....... like a mystery @.@

I have tested with antismapper on and off and have received verification email in both cases. I have sent screen shot as a PM to you.
