Go to Admin > Theme > Customise > CSS and post the following code in the second box, then hit the Save button.

body.helpcenter section {display: block !important;}

I have done that, and it still does not seem to be displaying correctly, the text is not showing right when I type and the logo is right in the middle of the help text. Please see, sisterwives.com/help. We are not authorized to grant backend access to the production site. However I can set up a dev with our theme if need be so you can apply the fix if you cant figure it out. Thanks

Use this code instead to align text to the left:

body.helpcenter section {    display: block !important;    text-align: left;}

You may wish to feature some topics to show them on the homepage. Further more, you can discuss the style issue with your theme developer as this is mostly CSS conflicts with the theme. Alternatively, you can disable helpcenter theme to use the plugin within your current theme layout.
