I see that the feed is also on the dashboard. Very nice. This way I can remove it from the homepage, because I want my site partly closed.
Question: It's not possible to add the other modules (friends, birthdays, videos, events, etc...) also to the dashboard.

I now realise that the news feed on the front is global and the newsfeed on the dashboard is from the friends.
But you could solve it if the modules/widgets on the frontpage can be set logged-in/public
