After that I got
Fatal error: Call to a member function setDescription() on a non-object in /var/www/virtual/mysite.eu/htdocs/ow_plugins/links/controllers/view.php on line 56

It did delete the link dough…

Would you check what version of links plugin do you have? You can do it in phpmyadmin->oxwalldb->ow_base_plugin table. Find "Links" plugin and check "build" field

Where to delete a link? I cannot find a delete button anywhere.

Ok found it by clicking comments. Seems a strange place to have delete.
