A pay stub that you email to an employee directly from the QuickBooks desktop requires a QuickBooks Paystub Password to be entered. If you want to find out more about the paystub password, you must enter the first four letters of the employer's last name in lowercase only. The next set of characters will be made up of the last four digits of the SSN. Remember that you shouldn't use any punctuation in this QuickBooks paystub password, including dashes and spaces.
