QuickBooks error H505 is an H series error and can be seen when QuickBooks faces issues connecting with the server computer. Server connectivity issue happens when the Windows firewall is blocking the multi-user hosting. Follow the fix below to troubleshoot Error code H505:

Download the QuickBooks tool hub from the site of Intuit.
Once downloaded, install it accepting the terms and conditions on the screen.
Double-click to launch the program and click on the network issues.
You will find an option in network issues that says QuickBooks Database Server Manager.
When you see the company file, click Scan.
