Recheck your plugins one by one (deactivate). there may be one plugin that caused it. Before I get the same problem..

yes by doing that it appears...isnt it suppose to appear by default?

It was supposed to appear right away. Can you clean your browser's cache?

I cleared the cache and tried it still having the same issue. i am running firefox 15.0.1

Suresh, I have checked buttons for comments in Firefox 15.0.1 and all works well ( see screen shot attached). Which browser are you using?

i can see the button after i click into the textbox. isnt it suppose to show by default?

Suresh, when I was testing I saw button before I clicked on the text box.
I can see that you are installing Oxwall again right now.
